This video is my interview asking how my media production represents different social groups.

Evaluaation Question 3- What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

The media institution that will distribute my media product will be  Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. (SPE) is the American television and film production and distribution unit of Japanese multinational technology and media conglomerate Sony. It is based in Culver City, California and serves as Sony's main global film production and distribution company

Throughout the years, SPE has produced, distributed, or co-distributed successful franchises such as Spider-Man, Men in Black, Underworld, and Resident Evil.

 

I have chosen SPE beacuse  It’s the one of the major film distributors. Sony distributes many movies in the  “Action” genre. This is the genre my film is making it perfect for Sony to distribute. Many of Sony audiences are teenagers, this is my target audience, this makes it a  perfect company  to distribute my product. Sony has many cinemas around the world, this means my product is likely to be seen by everyone. This also links to other small companies  they own such as (SEN) Sony Entertainment Network. This  is a  site where all movies they have distributed can be watched by everyone once they are no longer in the cinemas. This system is available on many platforms such as Sony PlayStation, Sony Mobile and other conglomerates  owned by  Sony Corporation . I believe this will make the perfect distribution company for the film. they offer a lot of ways of showing the film and have a large audience.
